We're thrilled to have everyone back for another great school year! This year, we want to keep you connected to what students are learning in Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). We believe families are essential partners in helping children develop these important life skills, so we're sharing short videos and resources about the SEL tools we use every day.

Our first video introduces our building-wide guidelines (SOAR) that help students be Safe, On Task, Always Respectful, and Responsible. Watch together to learn how you can reinforce these expectations at home and celebrate your child's positive choices throughout the school day!

Lesson 2: Uplifter ⬆️

What a fantastic Apex lesson today about learning to cheer on others! Our students know leaders don’t try to be the only one shining, they raise the energy of the whole room and help encourage, inspire, and support the people around them!

Way to go COACH GROVE'S 2ND GRADE CLASS - our next challenge winners! Their class had the most students “SHARE” their Apex websites and got to WRAP the Apex team! WOAH! 😋

🦅 APEX Fundraiser Update! 🦅

Yesterday, we kicked off our APEX fundraiser at Clover Creek Elementary! This fundraiser plays a huge role in helping our students attend field trips free of charge. Thank you for supporting our Hawks! 💚

Today, our students will learn about being STEADY—staying calm and strong, even when things around you feel out of control. They learned powerful strategies to help them find their calm and navigate the highs and lows they experience.

💰 Our Fundraising Progress:
We are currently at $128 per lap! Keep those donations coming! Every bit helps our students reach their goals and enjoy exciting learning experiences outside the classroom.

🏅 Challenge Winner:
Congratulations to Coach Hubbard’s first-grade class! They had the most students log in and select their free T-shirt size. They earned the Champion Medal and an extra-special EXTRA RECESS with the APEX team today! 🎉

✨ Tonight’s Challenge: TOTAL SHARES!
The class with the most total shares by tomorrow morning will get to… WRAP THE APEX TEAM! 🎁

If you haven’t completed the application yet, please take a few minutes to do so. The application can be completed anywhere, and you will still be entered to win the gift card.

💚 Thank You, Kindergarten Families! 💚

A huge thank you to all of our kindergarten families who joined us for Kindergarten Orientation! We were so impressed by the incredible turnout and loved seeing so many families excited to begin this new journey with us.

Our kindergarteners did an amazing job adjusting to their new surroundings! Our teachers and staff were so impressed with how well they explored, settled in, and jumped right into their new adventure. 🥰📚

Classroom Placements: Your kindergartener will be temporarily placed with a kindergarten teacher. As we work to create balanced classrooms, adjustments may need to be made. If a change is needed, families will be notified by September 2nd.

The presentation will be shared via ParentVUE tomorrow.
