Wow, Tacoma. You. Showed. Up.
Our second Ground to Sound Film & Art Festival was truly one for the books! Last year, we launched this first-of-its-kind, collaborative festival with the City of Tacoma Government and Tacoma Environmental Services team in partnership with Foster's Creative - this year, we leveled up.
New venue. New film. New ways to celebrate our waterways. And you made it all worth it. 🩵 Seeing the Foss Waterway Seaport fill up right as the clock hit 6. Running out of chairs. Hearing the buzz of excitement in every corner. It was an incredible moment. And we’re beyond grateful.
We can create the space, but you bring it to life. So THANK YOU to every artist, filmmaker, musician, and community member who showed up to celebrate Tacoma’s waterways with us. We hope you left feeling inspired, connected, and maybe even with a little more love and knowledge for our environment.

Vendor Spotlight: Water from Wine! 🍇
At the Ground to Sound Film & Art Festival, we are all about celebrating creativity with purpose, and that’s why we’re thrilled to spotlight our event refreshment vendor, Water from Wine!
Water from Wine is a local nonprofit dedicated to funding clean water projects around the world. 🌍 Proceeds from their bottles sold support life-changing access to safe, clean drinking water - a mission that aligns perfectly with our festival’s commitment to impactful storytelling and positive change.
