🍂 Last Sunday is already over, but I keep thinking about all the little moments that happened in this classroom.

The excitement of rolling the giant cubes. The careful searching during the picture hunt. The smiles when someone found the right answer. The quiet conversations about Daniel and trusting God.

These moments may seem small, but I believe this is how faith often grows: one story, one question, one prayer, one Sunday at a time. 🫶

Sometimes we never know which lesson a child will remember years from now. That's why every Sunday matters. 🌞

I'm grateful for every volunteer, every family who brings their children, and every little heart that walks through our classroom doors.

Thank You, Lord, for another Sunday to share Your love.💖

Sometimes children teach us what God's peace looks like. ❤️

Today we learned about the Shoes of Peace.

We rolled giant question cube. We searched through picture hunts. We followed winding paths. We discovered Bible truths hidden inside treasure chest cards.

And then something beautiful happened.

As the children answered questions about Daniel and talked about trusting Jesus, I was reminded that faith often grows in the simplest moments.

Not during a big sermon. Not during a perfect lesson.
But while a little hand points to the right answer... while a child whispers a Bible verse... or proudly says, "Jesus gives us peace."

Those are the moments that make every hour of preparation worthwhile.

I'm grateful that I get to watch little hearts discover God's truth one lesson at a time. ❤️

Some of the biggest lessons in life begin with very small choices. ❤️

This Sunday, our little learners will discover what it means to wear the Breastplate of Righteousness: choosing what is right because we love God.

Through stories, games, movement, hands-on activities, and plenty of smiles, we'll help children understand that every kind word, honest choice, helping hand, and forgiving heart matters to God.

One of my favorite parts of this week's lesson is watching children explore the treasure chests and discover hidden surprises as they search for what is true and right. Their excitement reminds me that learning God's Word should be filled with wonder.

Please keep our Sunday School teachers, volunteers, and every child in your prayers as we gather this weekend.

May each child leave knowing a little more about God's love and His desire for them to walk in His ways.

One of my favorite sights after Sunday School... ❤️

Not perfectly stacked pages.

Not a spotless table.

But a classroom where God's Word has been shared with children. 😍

Every page spread across this table reminds me that another Sunday has been spent planting seeds of truth in young hearts.

Praise God for every child who heard that Jesus is the Truth this week. Please continue praying that His Word will grow in their hearts long after Sunday's lesson is over.
Last week, our Belt of Truth curriculum has finished its mission. Now it's time to prepare a brand-new lesson for next Sunday.

💜 Preparing for Sunday. 💜

Every Sunday lesson begins long before the children arrive. It starts with hours of planning, illustrating, printing, laminating, cutting, organizing, and preparing a complete lesson for our Sunday School.

This week's lesson is about the Belt of Truth from the Armor of God.

Our curriculum includes a Bible story, teacher instructions, activity pages, movement activities, matching games, coloring pages, and hands-on learning for different age groups.

Everything is created with one prayer in mind, that children would come to know God's love and His truth.
This Sunday, more than 40 children will use these materials as they learn that God's truth helps us make good choices.

Please pray with me for our teachers, volunteers, and every child who will hear God's Word this weekend. ❤️

🐝💛 We had so much fun making this little bee suncatcher today!

Elliot helped paint the bubble wrap, glued on all the bees, and couldn't wait to hold it up to the window to see the sunshine shining through. ☀️ That was definitely his favorite part!
I love simple crafts like this. They don't take much, but they turn into sweet little moments together and spark so many conversations.

As we worked, we talked about bees, flowers, and how bees help our gardens grow. 🌼🐝

And without even realizing it, little ones are practicing:
✋ fine motor skills
👀 hand-eye coordination
🎨 creativity
📋 following directions

We made it with 6 popsicle sticks, bubble wrap, yellow paint, and our bee cutouts. Once it dried, we hung it in the window, and it looked so bright and cheerful in the sunlight. 💛

🍋🔬 Little Elliot & Dad's Science Adventures

Today we put a surprising science question to the test:
🎈 Can a lemon peel pop a balloon?

Elliot wasn't quite sure what would happen, but he was ready to find out!

Together, we explored how the natural oils in a lemon peel can interact with a balloon in a surprising way. Watching children's faces light up with curiosity is one of the best parts of learning through hands-on experiments.

Science doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes all it takes is a lemon, a balloon, and a little curiosity. 💛
