Come celebrate 20 years of Arts in Tacoma!
Open House at Open Arts Studio
September 13th, 1-4PM
We’ve expanded and doubled our size! Over 6,000 total sq ft of class space, 3000 of which is brand new! Come see the new adult ceramics studio! We have 15 new wheels (totaling 25 wheels now), Laguna Spray booth, 6 sinks, 4 large kilns with overhead Vent-a-Kiln venting, 50 dipping glazes, 30+ hand painting glazes and unlimited open studio visits!
-New Ceramics membership is now available.
-New Adult drawing and painting studio with acrylic, oil, watercolor and pastel painting classes are offered—including newly offered open studio time.
-Teaching / commissary kitchen offers classes, themed culinary experiences and more.
-Partake in a free Raku firing experience! Choose a handcrafted bisque piece and glaze it to be fired. The glazing will be at 1:30 and firing begins at 2:15. Limited to 35 spots and adults only.
-Raffle tickets for everyone! (drawing, painting and ceramics classes for prizes)
-Kids games and art
-Teacher Demos in Ceramics and Painting.
-Treats and beverages will be served.
