Backyard Bears is a Montessori-inspired preschool offering a warm, holistic environment for children ages 2–5 years. Our small class sizes (up to 9 children) ensure each child receives meaningful attention and care.
✨ Class Offerings:
• 2-Day AM: Monday & Tuesday, 8:00–12:00
• 2-Day PM: Monday & Tuesday, 12:30–4:30
• 3-Day AM: Wednesday–Friday, 8:00–12:00
Our program is half outdoor, with 2 hours inside and 2 hours outside each day. Children engage in hands-on learning through our nature-based curriculum, including gardening and caring for our friendly chickens—fostering responsibility, empathy, and wonder.
With a holistic approach to early childhood education, we focus on social-emotional growth, independence, and foundational academics in a nurturing setting where every child can thrive.
We welcome both subsidy and private pay families.
Potty training is not required.
