Lean into Learning: Sarah Nestor Lane

What did you look like as a 2nd grader? I think sometimes it helps us as teachers, educators, administrators . . . to look right into your own eyes as a child at that age.

It can change your perspective. You think about what a big deal at that time and place. What do you remember? How does that change the perspectives of going in to work with children of that age that day?

This page had been a bit stagnant, as its original intent was to share pictures with my students' families & happenings from the classroom. I am still going to share learning experiences, but also reflections, teacher connections & more. (Hence, the name change.)

I believe in the learning process. I'm still in it today, and I still have the curiosity I had in this picture as a 7-year-old. (If not more, and so much so, I think it drives half my headaches. :) ) Thanks for sticking around as I continue to be a creator in the crazy world of education.

Today we celebrated at ! Thanks for the families that came out. We enjoy connecting with our families at optional in-person events throughout each month.

There are so many great in-person events happening in January, starting with watercolor painting on Monday! 🎨
