Photo 1: SAMi FFA enjoyed the 1st General Session of the 98th National FFA Convention and Expo where we heard inspiring words from the National officers and from keynote speaker Aric Jackson who reminded us to 1) Destroy our box, 2) Do You Unapologetically, and 3) Give 110% as we strive to empower ourselves and others.

SAMi FFA and Warren Hills FFA (from New Jersey) finally met in person at convention registration! They are our partner chapter through the Chapter Connect program that paved the way for SAMi FFA to attend National Convention in only our 2nd year as a chapter!

Skaggs and LaCombe will be taking over the SAMI Instagram on Tuesday 9/10 for the whole day to welcome you back to school! They’ll be offering insider tips like how to make friends, where to take the best animal and nature selfies, and what trail is their favorite walk to relax on…send us your questions for them to answer!

One of our favorite Life Science Parhway projects at , Microgreens exploring sustainable food security, led by our wonderful math teacher and farmer (yes, she owns a local farm) Ms. Vuylsteke. Our SAMi farmers share their bounty and it’s delicious!
