The School of Music at the University of Puget Sound is unique. We are one of the few liberal arts colleges in the country with a conservatory-style School of Music. Here, we prepare students for professional careers in music and support non-majors interested in continuing their study. Our active faculty of artist-teachers, scholars, and creative artists work together to train the whole musician, to help students achieve an equal excellence in both performance and musical understanding. Through our Bachelor of Music degrees (in performance, music education, composition, and with elective studies in business) and Bachelor of Arts degree, our students gain the skills and experience to go on to the finest graduate schools or pursue careers in performance, teaching, scholarship, music business, or music-related fields. Our nine choral and instrumental ensembles, multiple chamber groups, stage productions, and numerous music clubs offer many opportunities to perform. Even if you choose to major in another subject, double major, or minor in music, we offer you rich opportunities for continued study of music and musical performance. Coming up next Friday, September 25th is our 16th annual Faculty and Student Music Showcase, COLLAGE! Collage is an audience favorite featuring all School of Music vocal and instrument ensembles with faculty and students performing together. Enjoy a medley of musical pieces performed in rapid succession, creating a concert experience that is fast-paced, fun, and engaging. We hope to see you at the show!

Tickets are available online at tickets.pugetsound.edu, at the Logger Store or at the door. $15 general, $10 sr. citizen, military, Puget Sound faculty, staff, and Community Music members. $5 for students.

🎶🎤✨ Save the date for our annual Honor Choir Festival coming up on Friday, October 2nd and Saturday, October 3rd! This festival is a great opportunity to come to the University of Puget Sound and learn from experienced master conductors, gain valuable tips on practicing and leadership, and sing with some of the finest high school singers in Western Washington.

🎫 Festival Fee: $40 per student for the two-day festival, nonrefundable. Students may be substituted.
The registration deadline is Friday. September 11th.

🎺 The 2026 Puget Sound Brass Camp concert is this Friday, June 26th at 12:30 p.m. in Schneebeck Concert Hall! Our student musicians have been hard at work to elevate their skills on brass instruments and perform in an incredible concert. This performance is free and open to the public.
