Spring break! There’s no school Monday, April 6, through Friday, April 10, for spring break. School district offices will be closed April 10.

If your student gets a new $60 donation over this weekend, they will earn a special glow in the dark keychain and might even earn their next level prize at the same time!

We will officially kickoff on March 17th with a week's worth of challenges, leading up to the big event on March 27th!

Due to weather conditions, all after-school activities, childcare, conferences and athletics - including games - are canceled for Friday, March 13, 2026.

This means:
-Conferences are canceled
-After-school activities and clubs are canceled
-Athletic practices and games are canceled

We celebrated Read Across America and the various cultures of our students and staff in the community.

We created a quilt of our names in the hallway to celebrate our classrooms that make up the culture of Birney.

Thank you to the people who took the time to come in and read books to our students!

Mr. Banton, with the help of Mrs. Dashiell, shared some of his culture with Birney students by reading "The Musubi Man" and teaching them how to make Musubi. Delicious!
