Important Levy Information

Franklin Pierce Schools is asking voters to renew two expiring levies on the February 10 ballot that support daily operations and safe, modern learning environments.



Proposition 1: Educational Programs & Operations continues a 2022 levy ($2.50 per $1,000 of assessed value) that funds about 15% of school operations not fully funded by the state. This levy supports more than 200 staff positions, including teachers, counselors, nurses, librarians, paraeducators, and safety staff, as well as curriculum, special education, multilingual learning, early learning, arts, athletics, and extracurricular programs.



Proposition 2: Safety, Technology & Capital Improvements replaces a 2022 levy with a modest increase ($1.00 per $1,000 of assessed value) to fund student technology, cybersecurity and safety systems, and critical facility maintenance such as HVAC, roofs, lighting, and athletic and community spaces.
