Range day with the Conway Police ERT, this is the place where hard skills, trust and relationships are all built. Ground conditions were less than perfect, heat index was 109’…team effort was 💯%.

Active Shooter Response Training with the Conway Police Department. Training included scenario based exercises, physical preparedness testing and professional evaluations to all of the officers who participated all with the purpose of protecting the community of Conway. Had some fun working on transitions and reloads using the USPSA CM 03-05 Paper Poppers stage. Normally it’s skills over drills but it’s always good to see where you’re at! Hands over the shoulders start will be a game time adjustment when it’s official. Got some work to do on the reload and quicker splits on the poppers!

Got the chance to train with these 2 pros yesterday prepping for an upcoming 3 day Active Shooter Course. Always good to see the LE / MIL community investing in their training and development. Best part of this job are the people.

Let’s go, heading into the weekend! Had this on my to-do list but breaking into the sub 2.5s has been a sticking point. Ran this 2.44, just want to thank Gorka Ibanez for the pro-tips, appreciate the chance to learn from the best. Such a fun way to work speed / accuracy testing grip and vision. Got some work to do, 2.3s new goal.
