**North Manchester native dies in war**

Clayton Moore, a 2015 graduate of Manchester Junior-Senior High School, tragically lost his life on June 11, 2026, while serving his country in the Ukraine and Russia conflict, according to a Facebook post by his family.

The family plans to have a “funeral or celebration of life when he gets into the states, which could take possibly a month to six weeks.”

The family will post details at that time.
