Big I New York's Producer Advertising legislation passed both the Assembly and Senate unanimously, advancing a commonsense fix to outdated advertising requirements that have resulted in fines for insurance agents over digital carrier logo displays.

A big win for New York's independent insurance agents!

The Producer Advertising Reform Bill has passed the State Assembly, bringing us one step closer to repealing an outdated law that has resulted in unnecessary fines for insurance agencies.

This legislation, championed by Big I New York, reflects what happens when members make their voices heard and we take those concerns directly to Albany.

The bill now moves through the Senate before heading to Governor Hochul's desk.

Big I New York AVP of Government Affairs Travis Wattie on the hill awaiting action as the bill is advanced.
