McDonald School of Irish Dance Established in 2001, The McDonald School of Irish Dance is located in Central New York, under the direction of certified instructor Amy Markwardt-Metz TCRG

Lessons for beginner through champion, are held on Onondaga Hill and in Marcellus. Certified with An Coimisiun le Rince Gaelacha

Instructor Amy Markwardt T.C.R.G. Is a former champion dancer with top-five placements in the Mid-Atlantic region & top 10 in the Nation. Her background also includes performing professionally for Busch Gardens, Virginia. McDonald School of Irish Dance students have performed to the delight of audiences at local community events including The St. Patrick's Day Parade, Irish Festivals, Gala Dinners, Weddings, Irish Night with the Skychiefs and Syracuse Crunch, among others. Our Champion dancers compete nationwide. With small class sizes we strive to give each dancer individual attention to nurture their talent. Focus is given to proper form, technique, flexibility, stamina, and stage presence, while most importantly providing students with a fun, healthy atmosphere to make new friends, and enjoy the sport of Irish Dance.
