Welcome to the official page of the Turkish Student Association at Syracuse University.
Turkish Students Association at Syracuse University is the main representative body of the Turkish students at Syracuse University. The TSA participates in various social and cultural activities across the campus to raise the awareness of the Turkish culture and heritage. This helps to foster an atmosphere of cultural acceptance and diversity among the university community. The TSA also organizes open seminars and lectures by inviting guest speakers from wide variety of disciplines.

On November 10th, at 9:05 AM, the Republic of Turkey has lost its founder, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Following the tradition, every year, the traffic stops and the sirens are echoed throughout the country at the exact moment of Atatürk’s last breath. Today, we honor his 82nd death anniversary.

This week, we are celebrating the 96th anniversary of Turkish Republic! The Republic Day commemorates the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey on October 29th 1923 and it is celebrated every year on the same day. It is the greatest gift of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk who is Turkish Republic's founder and its first president. Yaşasın Cumhuriyet!
