The NPPA Multimedia Immersion Video Storytelling Workshop changes the way you see, think and capture a story. Video is such a powerful way to tell a story, it combines all the visuals of stills but puts them into motion. In addition you have the advantage of having the subject talk in his or her own voice and hear the emotion behind what they are saying.
Combine that with B-roll (the details and so much more) and editing you end up with a story that has so much impact.

Registration is open for the 2023 NPPA Multimedia Immersion Video Storytelling Workshop at the Newhouse School at Syracuse University May 16-20.

It's a 5 day workshop where talented coaches from around country come to teach everyone from freelancers photographers and videographers to professionals at newspapers, hospitals, NGO's, etc everything about video storytelling from filming a story to interviewing/lighting techniques and editing that story using Premiere Pro into a nice one to two minute video story.
It's all done in a nice setting inside of Newhouse with a teams of 2 coaches to a 4 student ratio for optimal learning.

Whether your work wants you to start doing video and you've never shot or edited a story before or you're good a doing video but want to get better at editing and producing a story this workshop is the best in the country for that.
