Did you know your hips play an important role in keeping you mobile and steady as you move through your day? 🧘‍♀️

The seated Figure 4 stretch is a gentle way to open the hips and stretch the glutes — all from the comfort of a chair!

Try adding this simple stretch to your daily routine:
🪑 Sit tall in your chair
🦵 Cross one ankle over the opposite thigh
🌿 Keep your back long and gently lean forward
⏱️ Hold for 20–30 seconds, then switch sides

Remember: a stretch should feel gentle — never painful.

Small movements can make a big difference in keeping you moving, strong, and independent. 💙

Did you know your spine needs regular movement to help you maintain good posture and move comfortably throughout the day?

Seated Cat-Cow can help you:

✔️ Improve spinal mobility
✔️ Support healthy posture
✔️ Relieve stiffness and tension
✔️ Increase body awareness
✔️ Keep your back moving comfortably

The good news? You can do this simple movement right from a chair! 🪑

💙 Try 8–10 gentle repetitions, moving slowly with your breath. Sit tall with your feet planted on the floor, and only move through a comfortable range of motion. There should never be pain.

Small movements like this can make a big difference in keeping your body strong, mobile, and independent as you age.

Save this post to try later, and follow CARE for more simple exercises and healthy aging tips to help you stay strong, active, and independent.
