Walking in winter doesn’t have to mean slipping in winter ❄️

One of the simplest ways to prevent falls on snow and ice is to walk like a penguin — small steps, slower pace, and your weight centered over your front leg. This keeps your center of gravity stable and reduces sudden slips.

This is especially important for:
• Anyone with balance challenges
• Fatigue or neurological conditions
• Older adults
• Anyone walking dogs, kids, or carrying bags

Movement should feel safe — not scary 🤍

Follow for practical wellness, nervous system-friendly movement, and real-life health tips.
