Meet our lab team! Elina Sun is a PhD student in the department of psychology at Syracuse University. Previously, Elina earned degrees from an undergraduate program (East China Normal University) that stressed neuroscience and a Master’s program (Beijing Normal University) focused on clinical and counseling psychology. Elina's current research focuses on social support, capitalization, and self-disclosure, with a particular emphasis on attachment differences in these processes.

Meet our lab team!
Brett Jakubiak, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Syracuse University. He has been faculty at SU since 2017, and he conducts research on how people can maintain satisfying relationships and support one another through life's ups and downs. Brett recently co-wrote a textbook on romantic relationships and is currently teaching a close relationships course for advanced undergraduate students.
