Welcome to Kindergarten! Our K Orientation will be on September 3 from 2-3 pm at the Kindergarten entrance in our side parking lot. Come meet the teachers and other staff before the first day of school! 💙💛

As a reminder, vaccines are mandated for children to be able to attend school in Prek, Kindergarten, 6th and 7th grades. Please see the post below for more info! Please reach out to Paul Lyboult or our main office for more information!

Attached is information regarding mandated vaccines for students in Prek, Kindergarten, 6th and 7th grades. One of our staff members will be reaching out to you over the summer to follow up on any specific shots your child needs for these grades.

Please consider signing up for our school based health center if you haven’t already. It is at no extra cost to you, even if you already have a doctor for your child. Our health center covers medical (including vaccinations when needed), dental, and mental health services and is an amazing part of our school community. The link for the application in different languages is below. Please return this to our main office asap. If you need support or have questions, please reach out to Paul Lyboult by calling our main office at 315-435-4490.

We look forward to partnering with you to make sure you child is put to date with their vaccinations and healthy throughout the school year! 💙💛

In order to make sure your child has a bus for the first day of school, all address changes need to be in SchoolTool by August 1, 2026. This will be important for the district to set up correct transportation and for us to be able to get ahold of you. Please make sure to call our main office at 315-435-4490 to update any address, phone number, or to get more info regarding daycare request forms that need to be filled out each year if your child is being bussed to any other address than your own for the year. Attention families! We will be moving from Talking Points to Parent Square this year as our district family communication app. Attached is a step by step guide to help you set it up. Please note that we need to have your most current phone number in School Tool in order for it to connect to the Parent Square app. Parent Square is an amazing way to connect with the school, teachers, schedule meetings/conferences, and stay up to date with what’s happening at school. 💙💛

Today’s second annual Pie Day, brought to you by your very own HW Attendance Team, was even better than year one! We had an amazing team of support and teaching staff that helped to encourage great attendance all year, some wonderful staff that volunteered to get messy, and a great emcee, Ms. Caufield!

We laughed, we danced, and we cheered for great attendance! Thanks to all who supported this event. It was an awesome end to our year to have the entire school witness the “pies” fly! 💙💛
