Throwback to more CR5 testing!
Visit formulasae.syr.edu for more information Formula SAE is an international collegiate design competition sanctioned by the Society of Automotive Engineers.
Students participating in the competition must design, manufacture and race their own open wheeled racecars. Two Citrus Racing seniors are headed to SpaceX this summer. Ryan Brennan (Electrical & Embedded Systems Lead) joins as an Avionics Electrical Test Engineer in California. Zach Freyman (Co-Chief Engineer) joins as a Supplier Development Engineer in Texas.
Their time on the team wasn’t just extracurricular; it’s what got them in the door. Ryan Brennan’s work on the dashboard and Zach Freyman’s work on the frame were directly integrated into their application process.
Syracuse University College of Engineering and Computer Science wrote about their journeys and what Citrus Racing meant for their careers. READ MORE HERE: https://ecs.syracuse.edu/about/news/citrus-racing-helps-students-prepare-for-engineering-roles-at-spacex
