Breastfeeding Cafés of Oswego County provides monthly informal breastfeeding support, now virtually, for all breastfeeding and expecting mothers. Breastfeeding Cafés of Oswego County are led by Certified Lactation Counselors and peer leaders committed to breastfeeding promotion and education to improve health outcomes among Oswego County families and communities. Certified Lactation Counselors and other peer leaders will be available to provide support as needed, answer questions, and provide useful information and referrals for breastfeeding moms and expectant mothers. We aim to create a safe, open space for breastfeeding individuals to connect with and support one another. Breastfeeding Cafes of Oswego County is a project of REACH CNY, Inc. made possible by a generous grant from Excellus BlueCross BlueShield.

Thank you to everyone who attended one of our Breastfeeding Cafes(support group). It was a pleasure to have you! Just a reminder for next month. We meet in Oswego at the library on the first Thursday of the month. The second Wednesday is C. Square at Sweet Aroma Cafe. The Pulaski at the library on the third Thursday of the month and last but not least we are in Fulton at the Fulton Recovery Community Outreach Center! Come meet some CLC’s and some other breastfeeding support workers in our county!
