Syracuse Christian Academy (SCA)는 2008년 개교한 이래, Upstate NY 지역 어린이들과 성인들에게 한글교육 및 예체능 교육을 통해 자랑스러운 한국인으로서의 정체성을 심어주고, 또한 외국인들에게는 한글의 우수성과 우리의 문화를 알리는 사명을 감당해 왔습니다. 미국 이민사회에는 많은 한글학교들이 존재하지만, SCA는 살아있는 생명의 말씀인 성경과 성경의 예화를 통해 어린이들에게 한글을 가르치고 교사들과의 전인적인 소통을 통해 보다 생생한 우리의 글과 말을 배우도록 한다는 점에서 다른 일반의 한글학교와는 큰 차별성이 있습니다.
