With the World Cup kicking off this week, a group of Falk College of Sport at Syracuse University students didn't just pick their favorites—they built a predictive model to back it up. ⚽

The Soccer Analytics Club ran thousands of simulations factoring in roster quality, coaching tenure, historical performance and even how teams play in different temperatures. Some takeaways?

🇫🇷 France is the favorite
🇺🇸 The U.S. has an 88.7% chance to advance out of the group stage
🇳🇴 Keep an eye on Norway as a dark horse

Introducing our 2026 Robinson Award Winner, Hudson Brenner!🥳

Hudson (piano) is a 2026 graduate from Fayetteville-Manlius High School. He currently studies piano with Ida Tili-Trebicka. His accomplishments include winning first place in both the Senior and Intermediate Divisions of the CNY Association of Music Teachers Piano Competition, earning second place in the Civic Morning Musicals/Syracuse Orchestra Youth Concerto Competition, and receiving the Klingerman Award from Civic Morning Musicals. An active performer and leader, Hudson serves as President of Chorale and Secretary of the Tri-M Music Honor Society and has performed extensively as a solo pianist, vocalist, and violist in community and youth orchestra ensembles throughout Central New York. Hudson will attend Johns Hopkins University this fall, where he plans to major in Physics and minor in Piano. Congratulations, Hudson!

You can see Hudson perform in a prelude concert on August 13 at 6:30 PM. Please note that to see the winners perform, you must purchase tickets to the August 8th event.🎹

Meet Emerson, Tupelo Music Hall's marketing intern for the 2026 summer!

While Emerson is back in New Hampshire for the summer, taking a break from her studies at Syracuse University, she'll be helping us create content, promote shows, and get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to run a live music venue.

Fun fact...Emerson is no stranger to Tupelo Music Hall since she's performed on our stage with her band!
