Another successful trip to NYC with the Econ/Investment Club members is in the books! Chrissy Fahey, Asst. Director of Career Advising along with Faculty members, Drs. Wayne Grove, Bibhu Panda, and Deepak Moore joined students in adventuring to the city to meet various alumni in different roles and industries. First stop was at the beautiful Grace Building in mid-town Manhattan to visit Colliers International -one of the top three commercial real estate firms globally. Alan Desino’85 graciously hosted us and organized a comprehensive overview and deep dive into the world of commercial real estate with three of his colleagues. The second stop was Hurley’s Saloon in Times Square for a networking lunch with James Crist’20, Casualty Facultative Underwriter at TransRe; Catherine Root’16, Director of Strategy and Analytics,Metergy Solutions, and Bradley Canino’13, Biotechnology Equity Research Analyst at Stifel Financial.

We are so grateful for all of the alums who participated and its reassuring to know that Dolphins don’t let other dolphins swim alone! 

Students if you have the opportunity to meet alumni at events like these, run don’t walk! Be sure to get involved in your clubs or Manresa to take advantage of all the dolphins doing cool things who want to connect and help you!

It’s that time of year again… Seniors, we know this transition can be scary, but we are here to help! Stop by our office (RH 344) during our drop in hours for help polishing your resume for employers! Not a senior, no problem! Anyone is welcome to drop in!

Last week members of Manresa took a trip to Washington DC for a Career Trek! They were able to meet with many successful alumni who offered their advice, as well have the opportunity to see all of the sights DC has to offer!
