We’re so proud to see our very own Daniel “Chef Dan” Webb recognized as Nave’s September Hero!

Chef Dan brings care, kindness, and a whole lot of heart to Elmcrest every day. We’re so grateful for everything he does to make our community feel a little more like home.

Congratulations, Chef Dan!

Meet Our September Nave Hero: Daniel "Chef Dan" Webb

A meal can do more than feed someone. It can make them feel cared for. Safe. At home.

Since joining Elmcrest Children's Center in 2022, Chef Dan has become known as the "Heart Behind the Kitchen." Long before most people begin their day, he is already preparing meals, planning menus, and accommodating dietary needs so the young people at Elmcrest have something they can count on.

His impact goes far beyond what is on the plate. He remembers favorite meals. He takes the time to check in. He understands that sometimes sitting down to good food can make a difficult day feel a little better.

"Being able to make someone's day a little brighter through a meal is what makes this work so rewarding."

His food has also become a way to bring people together, creating conversation and connection across the Elmcrest community. Chef Dan may work behind the scenes, but his impact is felt everywhere.

Congratulations to Daniel "Chef Dan" Webb, our September Nave Hero. Thank you for making Elmcrest feel a little more like home.

A big thank you to Cooney Air Conditioning & Heating for their generous donation and continued support of Elmcrest!

We’d also like to thank Debbie and Amber for taking the time to visit Casey’s Place and learn more about the important work happening there.

We’re grateful for your generosity and for taking the time to see firsthand the difference Casey’s Place makes for children and families.

Casey’s Place provides caregivers with a much-needed break while offering children a safe, nurturing, and accessible environment. Children have opportunities to build socialization skills and peer relationships, participate in recreational activities, and enjoy experiences both in a home setting and throughout the community.

This marks the third year of their support, and we are so thankful for their ongoing commitment to the children and families we serve.

A special thank you to all of the participants, volunteers, and Elmcrest Board members for their sponsorship and support.
