Building Men Program

Building Men Program The Building Men Program is an after-school program that help boys in their journey into manhood.

We strive to accomplish this mission by encouraging the boys to become “A” man, not “The” man and begin “A” Man’s Journey. The journey includes many different opportunities to experience and discuss authentic manhood. Some of the opportunities are to attending chalk talks, listen to guest speakers, attend special events, participating in community service projects, and rite of passage trips. We teach how to set goals, create career/passion maps, and discuss making decision upon your “True North”. We discuss the importance of valuing and building positive relationships. Have a continuous discussion of the meaning for each word of S.I.R. (significance, integrity, and relationships) and identify men that are considered good examples of a SIR.
