SASSE is a student run organization at Syracuse University that strives to educate and advocate for sexual and reproductive justice.
Students Advancing Sexual Safety and Empowerment is a group that works hard to make Syracuse University a safer campus. Whether it is through sponsoring the Vagina Monologues each February or handing condoms out on Halloween dressed as Condom Faries, SASSE has many events geared at educating the campus about preventing violence and empowering women. SASSE is excited to be collaborating with DKA, Syracuse’s Gender-Inclusive Cinematic Fraternity, on a menstrual product drive for the Catholic Charities of Onondaga County. The drive will run from November 8th-15th. More details on locations of drop off boxes, as well as specifications of the products we are looking for, will be posted in the next few days.

We will be collaborating with Callisto on Monday, Oct. 25th, at 7pm on a general body meeting to educate the study body on Callisto’s services. Events throughout the week will be held to uplift and honor survivors of sexual assault.
