Wait!
Spring is here! Seed packets for cool-weather crops use the phrase "plant as soon as soil can be worked in Spring". The compost in our raised bed/ cold frame boxes is well- drained and ready for peas, kale, spinach, and potatoes this week. Send a message, if you would like to be involved in the garden this year.

One "hour of power" grew into 2, rockstar volunteer Jessica joined Lydia for the evening, and that is 4 total woman-hours of work completed today: weeding, watering, raking, transplanting in the shade garden, installing a lavender border in the front circle, plant identification, harvesting salad greens, screening finished compost, potting up plants to give to our neighboring community garden, down the road! Tomorrow evening, we will be at it again, 6-7.
