The Student Engagement Department lent a hand in Pete's Giving Garden today!🌱

Summer volunteer hours will be held every Tuesday from 10 AM until noon. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome!

Thank you to everyone who donated to 'Cuse Collections, the volunteers who helped make it happen, and to all of the organizations who partnered with us!

Donations went to seven different local organizations including the Boys & Girls Club, Rescue Mission, Spanish Action League, Huntington Family Centers, Lydia's Attic, SEA Without Borders, and John 6:12.

'Cuse Collections continues to help reduce waste on campus and benefits those in the community.🍊

'Cuse Collections begins Wednesday at 9AM! 🍊

Accepted donations include:
- Small kitchen items and appliances (microwaves, toasters, blenders, TVs, lamps, silverware, pots and pans, and vacuums)
- Gently used/new clothing
- Gently used/new shoes

We cannot accept:
- Bedding (pillows, mattress toppers, comforters, and sheets)
- Visibly distressed or damaged clothing or shoes
- Broken items or appliances
- Books and school supplies
- Food

*While we are not accepting food donations, nonperishable unopened food can be donated to the Coach Mac Food Pantry in Hendricks Chapel.*

All items will be donated to local organizations. Help cut down on waste and support the Syracuse community!

Hope everyone has been enjoying Earth Day! 🌎 Thanks to everyone who attended the walking tour. ☀️ And a big thank you to for letting us speak with Chef Rick Leonardo about composting and food waste in the dining halls!

Join us on a walking tour tomorrow highlighting various sustainability projects across campus! Tour will conclude at the Ernie Davis Dining Hall with free samples of Spare Burger and a plant based food option.

Thanks to everyone who attended yesterday's event with beekeeper Bob Faulkner! Bob spoke about how the honeybee hives are maintained and how honey is produced. Attendees were able to ask questions and even received a sample of campus honey! 🐝

Stop by our next Earth Month event on Monday on the Einhorn Family Walk (weather permitting). We'll be handing out propagated plants! 🌱
