Our ITAV Ice Cream Social is happening this Friday, and we’re bringing the Village together! 💜

The Take Us There Ice Cream Truck will be pulling up 🚚🍦, the music will be playing 🎶, and our children will get to enjoy an afternoon of treats, laughter, friends, and FUN!

But this is about more than ice cream. ❤️

We’re creating an opportunity for our families to connect, meet their children’s teachers and friends, and spend some time with the people who make up their child’s Village.

There’s something special about walking into a room and seeing this.😍

No assigned seats.
No forced team-building activity.
Just a group of educators choosing to sit together, laugh together, and enjoy their lunch break together.

Many of these amazing women are brand new to our Village. Some are seasonal team members. Yet here they are, building friendships, sharing stories, and creating the kind of culture that can’t be taught—it has to be lived.

At It Takes A Village, we often talk about the Village our children and families experience. But the truth is… our Village extends to our team, too. ❤️

We believe people do their best work when they feel valued, supported, and like they truly belong. Watching these moments reminds me that we’re building more than a childcare center—we’re building a community.
