Join Ms. Escalera's former students and friends on the steps of Delware tomorrow, Wednesday, 9/6 for a candlelight vigil.

Many of the students received outstanding awards for academics, citizenship and leadership! The fifth grade moving up ceremony ended with words of affirmation and encouragement to self and others as they sang "Yes You Can" by Marvin Sapp.

The stakes were high at the Delaware Field Days as Principal Hernandez and School Board Member Dan Romeo joined in the competitive fun!

Reflecting and taking a break from learning to work on social skills! The students had a great time at the Delaware Field Days!

The sounds of Delaware set the tone as we close out Spring! The students played their instruments to the beat of "Skip To My Lou" a Traditional Folk song and produced a melodious harmonic tune as they sang "Brave" by Sara Bareillis! The students hard work payed off under the direction of Music and Choral Director Mrs. Vanessa Ryder!

The students in Mrs. Dillabough, Mr. Suarez and Mrs. Kosakowski's second grade class said goodbye to these baby chickens last week! They enjoyed learning about the life cycle and caring for them in the classroom. So long furry friends!

The 2nd grade students at Delaware are loving the arrival of ducklings and chickens! They are learning about the life cycle and how to care for these furry friends!!!

We hope you have an "egg-cellent" Spring Break and we'll see everyone back at Delaware on Monday April 24th.
