Being a member of Zonta is more than simply joining an organization. It is becoming part of a ripple effect that stretches across borders and generations. One action inspires another. One initiative grows into a larger movement. One member invites another, and together we build something stronger than any one of us could accomplish alone.

Throughout our history, we have seen this ripple effect again and again. When women and girls are displaced by conflict and crisis, Zontians are there. When women and girls face barriers to professional or educational advancement, Zontians are there. Our members continue to step forward whenever women and girls need us most.

This is the true strength of membership. Growth is measured not only in numbers but also in action. It is measured in the projects we lead, the voices we amplify, the scholarships we provide, the advocacy we champion and the lives we change together.

Every Zontian carries the spirit of our mission forward. We pass the torch from one generation to the next, ensuring that our commitment to gender equality, education, ending violence against women and girls, climate justice and women’s leadership continues to grow stronger.

There are people in our communities searching for purpose, connection and a way to create meaningful change. When we invite others to join Zonta, we are not simply growing our membership. We are strengthening our ability to build a better world for women and girls, today and for generations to come.

Zonta: Building a Better World for Women and Girls

WOMEN - Scholarship $1500 DON'T LEAVE MONEY ON THE TABLE -The Zonta Club/Foundation of Syracuse provides scholarships to empower women in education has confirmed that its scholarship and award opportunities for 2026.
We have one award with no applicants - Women In Transition
The primary goal of the scholarship is to help "non-traditional" students re-enter the workforce or advance their careers by completing their education. It specifically targets women who have had their educational paths interrupted due to family responsibilities, financial hardship, or other life changes.
If you know of anyone who could benefit from this Award, please let us know. The deadline is approaching.
