Today, the entire student body returned to Christian Brothers Academy for orientation—and it was a great day to be a Brother!

Students gathered in the Lynch Gymnasium for an opening assembly and were wowed by the new gym floor. President Matt Keough and Principal Dave Marshall ’02 welcomed everyone back and kicked off the new school year.

Peer Ministry Leaders Rachel Zdep and Carter Achuff led the community in prayer and introduced this year’s Campus Ministry theme: “Through Faith We Stand as One.”

Student Senators shared information about Student Senate and announced this year’s Homecoming theme, “Game On!” They also revealed the themed dress-down days for Spirit Week.

Following the assembly, students took their yearbook photos, prayed at the Grotto, attended class meetings, completed important paperwork, and received their locker assignments. The afternoon highlight was getting to attend each class on their schedules for 10 minutes—a great way to get ready for the year ahead!

It was an exciting day filled with faith, fellowship, and plenty of CBA spirit.

CBA welcomed our new seventh graders and transfer students to campus today for a half-day orientation!

The goal of the day was to help students make connections, become acquainted with CBA, and practice the routines and procedures they will use throughout the school year.

Students met their teachers and staff, learned how to navigate MyCBA, were introduced to PE procedures and the locker room, and learned the process for purchasing lunch. They also participated in a scavenger hunt, played Bingo and Lasallian Man Junior with Mr. Benware, practiced following their schedules, and took a walk around the perimeter of the school.

The day concluded with pizza and plenty of time to get to know their new classmates!

Thank you to many of our upperclassman who assisted with today's activities.

Tomorrow, CBA welcomes back the entire student body for a full-day orientation. We can't wait to have everyone back on campus!
