Clyde-Savannah's 2nd Annual Earth Day Event was a hit! Families had a blast exploring with Wildlife Rockstars, Cornell Master Gardeners, and the Montezuma Audubon Center—from critters to composting worms to bird feeders! 🐛🐦🌱 We even powered phones with a pedal bike 🚲⚡ and hosted Hidden in Plain Sight for families. Thanks to Community Schools for funding our vendors and to our amazing partners we’ve proudly worked with year after year! Every student who visited all stations earned an insect catcher 🐞—and the turnout was fantastic!

The families of Lincoln Middle School came together for a night full of literacy, creativity, and connection! 📚Community Schools hosted an engaging evening featuring a mystery book giveaway, a “Paint an Adventure” activity, free dinner, and a gift raffle. Families also took part in an important conversation about the national literacy crisis—focusing on how we can address it within our own school community and support reading and growth at home. Last week, Peaceful Schools was ALL over Buffalo Public Schools —bringing SEL to life in fun, creative, meaningful ways.
📚 At BPS #90 Early Childhood Center: we joined “Raise a Reader” with a character read-aloud—because reading builds joy, connection, and strong relationships.
🎈 At BPS #74 Hamlin Park: families got hands-on making DIY stress balls + learning real-life calming and breathing strategies.
✨ At #309 East Community HS: affirmation mirrors turned into powerful moments of confidence, self-love, and positivity (plus LOTS of gems and stickers 😉)
🎤 At South Park HS our Caregiver Connections talk show taught De-escalation and Conflict Resolution strategies.
