Thank you Kathy Hochul for passing such a tyrannical act underneath New Yorkers noses.

NYS HERO'S ACT - or better known as Bill a416

Where they can deem a person or group of people a public health risk and send them to a "quarantine camp".

The state will determine when their quarantine is over.

People will be held against their will away from their families for an uncertain period of time.

This is MADNESS!

Resolutions & Position Statements - New York State School Boards Association 10/02/2023

This is the NYSSBA (NYS School Board Association) agenda the school boards are voting on. This agenda then gets sent to Albany for the legislative session and guides the bills through committees for a vote. Resolution 50 is what needs to pass through. We need to contact every school board in our school districts, explain that they must do their duty and participate in this vote. They should support local values and parental rights. This conference gets less than 10% participation from school boards across the state. The only ones who attend are the progressives. Most don’t even have a clue this exists let alone that they should attend and vote. BOEs who say they don’t help set policy need to go.

To those of our members who were able to make it to last week’s chapter meeting, thank you. Sending gratitude to our presenters, Danyela Souza Egorov and Alicia Letta for presenting about School Choice (spending your school tax dollars to send your kids where you want) and Homeschooling 101 (a practical approach to start your own homeschool), respectively. We know these are some taboo far right extreme topics, so thank you for persevering with us to keep the meeting. 🇺🇸🦅🗽
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our Chapter Chair worked around the clock to ensure this meeting was not stymied by the fringe left extremists. He also maintained relentless communication with everyone involved with last week’s meeting in order to ensure a smooth (as possible) meeting while he attended a co-sponsored training by Moms for Liberty and Leadership Institute down in Sarasota, FL.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We will not be holding an October meeting in order to regroup, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be working around the clock to prepare for November’s meeting. We also want to leave you with this one thought: the opposition, who thinks they are “winning” by making it difficult to host meetings, are only fueling our fire, reminding us they are threatened, and that we are all on the right track. We’ve seen many posts about “We see you, Joe Dunaway” “We’re coming for you, Joe Dunaway” and to that we say: “thank you for making yourself known to us.”
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
They may think they are coming for us, but rest assured Joe Dunaway is coming for every one of these fringe left extremist groups and those targeting him are only putting a target on their own back.

Our friends over at the College Republicans of SU wanted us to bring awareness of an upcoming debate. This may seem unrelated to schools and parental rights, but from a school budget standpoint there are numerous schools appropriating significant tax payer dollars for renewable energy projects. I’d you’re considering running for BOE, this is a topic you will need to be well versed in.

Today, a local school district and a dad were served to appear in Albany to appeal their recent decision to remove 5 books with illicit content from a school library. This a rural district where a middle school & high school share a library with no barriers for content.

In July, the local school board followed their own protocols with book challenges and voted to remove these five books. The school librarian and another teacher filed an appeal to the state to overturn the local school boards decision to remove the books.

This is the evil we face in this state. Parents follow set policies and procedures, a local board hears the challenges and agrees to remove the books, and an activist librarian files an appeal to force the books back in.

This must not stand. Please help us get the word out that Clyde Savannah Central School District, just like any other district has the legal authority to decide on educational and supplemental content within their districts. These are elected representatives who speak for their district. This type of activism is dangerous for our children and against parental rights and local controls.

Please encourage Clyde Savannah to stand by their decision and tell the state they have the right to decide their own content, based on NYS Ed Law Section 1903.

The books in question are
All Boys arent Blue, People Kill People, It Ends With Us, Red Hood, Jesus Land: A Memoir

These books depict violent graphic r**e scenes, Oral & a**l s*x involving children, su***de, drug use and more. If we are serious about mental health, safety as safeguards for our students, we must tell NYS to not allow these books to stay in this school where 12 year olds have access.
