If you see Chris Miller today give him a high five! Chris won the torch cutting competition at Saturday's Annual NIWC, Northern Indiana Welding Competition which took place in Warsaw.
Chris had a time of 8.13 seconds, the next best time was 13,15 seconds, which just happened to be the Warsaw teacher Jeremiah Paseka!
We also saw Wawasee Pathways student Luis Oseguera from Goshen High School take Third Place in the Beginner Division.
All of our students had a good time and learned more to improve their skills. This included freshman Ian Hollen and Quintin Woolwine who wanted to test their skills. Thank you to Mr. Paseka and Warsaw for hosting this event.

We are extremely pleased to announce that 30 students (out of 30!) passed their ISDH CNA state certification exam today. Wawasee, Fairfield, and Goshen students were all successful in the culmination of their hard work.

In particular, if you see our Wawasee High School students, please give them some well deserved praise. They worked incredibly hard this year and I am beyond proud of them. They are all well on their way to becoming amazing Healthcare professionals!

We are pleased to announce that all 3 Fairfield Jr Sr High School students passed their CNA certification exam on Monday.
Kylinne Jones, Patience Ebersole, and Aaliyah Davis are now all official CNAs.
I am very proud of their hard work!

Congratulations to our Computer Tech program! They competed at the state SkillsUSA competition this month. Caleb Borkholder won and is going to nationals! Other competitors and state finalists were Kaden Cook, Sawyer Cross, Nate Baily, and Xander Kupperus. Great job everyone!

They created a monster!
The second year Welding class has been working diligently in the shop creating a masterpiece and a monster! Behold "Spiky Steve" a creature from the past. These kids have been working hard since the beginning of the semester to create their interpretation of the prehistoric Triceratops, complete with chomping jaws which consumed MANY different types of sustenance. This creation is helping to carry on the Welding programs tradition of creating something for the annual Art Show which helps showcase how talented all of our students here at Wawasee High School are and this great Art Show gives them the platform to display it. A big thank you to Mrs. Ziebarth and Mrs. Miller for all of their hard work in putting this amazing show together to help us all appreciate our Wawasee students' hard work, skill and talent!

Our CTE Students attended the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce GPS2 Career Exposition to learn about career and educational opportunities available to them in Kosciusko County after they graduate.
