Check out our Webster kids!
"Those who are happiest are those who do the most for others." – Booker T. Washington
“We wanted to do something to help the community,” Webster Elementary School 5th grader Jalaya Davis shared. “I’m proud of myself for joining this group… only a few students were selected, so it means a lot. We’re all good leaders and good people.”
The Webster After School Program’s Student Advisory Board recently hosted a schoolwide toiletry drive to support the unhoused community, with the support of Program Liaison Maria Zapf. They spent their lunch time creating individual bags of items, which soon be donated to a local organization. The students noted their interest in improving their school – they help their peers who may need help after school, they set up for family events in the building, and they are looking into ways they can help improve things for next year’s 5th grade class. We’re proud of their leadership!

We ❤️ Mrs. Goettel and appreciate all she does for those in the Wolfpack 🐺
Webster Elementary School 2nd grade teacher Hope Goettel is a team player... that's why colleague Amy Diestler nominated her as an outstanding staff member!
This is Mrs. Goettel's 6th year in the SCSD, and her 6th year at Webster. for committed teachers like her!

Check out the amazing work of our Webster Student Council 🐺
"It feels good to do something for my school – I feel proud to have my voice heard," Webster Elementary School 5th grader Aimeek Wemene shared. "My goal is to help other students be successful!”
Last school year, the Webster Student Council was given the important task of drafting their own set of behavior guidelines. These guidelines were later approved by school staff; and to start this school year, the group created a presentation to share with the entire school community. Henninger High School football players volunteered this summer to lead co-ed football training drills at Webster’s summer school site.
There, The Montessori School at LeMoyne, Salem Hyde Elementary School, and Webster Elementary School students had a fun opportunity to learn from the older students – some of whom were once Webster students themselves! We love to see the collaboration and willingness of the football team (and Coach Patterson) to support these young athletes.
