NEW RESEARCH: Senior Research Associate Marc A. Garcia published a new study in The Journal of Gerontology Series B. The study takes a closer look at the importance of migration and gender in Latino immigrant experiences in the U.S. Along with his colleagues, they investigate the association between nativity status, age of migration, and cognitive life expectancies among a nationally representative sample of Latino adults aged 50 and older to explore whether age of migration and gender influence cognitive aging across the life course. http://bit.do/Marc-study1

Senior Research Associate Bhavneet Walia was quoted in a recent Time article entitled, "The Online Therapy Bubble is Bursting."
In the article, she calls on policymakers to "clean up" regulations around telehealth, interstate care, and remote prescribing. Furthermore, she notes that there should be stronger policies specifying which drugs can and can’t be prescribed solely through telehealth and which virtual services can be reimbursed through insurance.
