Our annual CCA Career Fair was a success! 🎉

On September 30, we had parents and community members come share their careers and experiences with our 7th graders, and the kids loved it!

They got to hear from people in all kinds of fields, from training bomb-sniffing dogs and fighting fires to managing a city, cleaning up after disasters, building homes, developing AI, flying planes, practicing law, working in HR, nursing, and so much more!

It was so fun to see our students learning about jobs they may have never even thought about before and getting a glimpse of the many possibilities for their futures.

A HUGE thank-you to everyone who volunteered their time to come talk with our students! We couldn't do it without you, and we appreciate you being willing to share what you do with our kids! 💙

🏈🧡 NINTH GRADE PRIDE! 💙🏈
We want to give a big shout-out to our amazing 9th graders who are part of the Syracuse High School Football team! These young athletes have put in so much hard work, dedication, and effort throughout the season, and we couldn’t be prouder of them!

From early mornings and long practices to Friday night lights, their commitment and Seahawk spirit have been something to celebrate! Keep pushing, keep growing, and keep representing Syracuse with pride!
Once a Seahawk, always a Seahawk!

Behind the Scenes of Robin Hood!

We are so grateful for the amazing support of our community! WSU students volunteered their time to help set the stage for Syracuse Jr High’s upcoming fall play, Robin Hood. 🎭
Their willingness to roll up their sleeves and lend a helping hand is such a great example of community support and service. We appreciate these college students helping our students bring their show to life and making it even more special!

Syracuse Jr High READ-A-THON! 🦅📚

Friday was all about celebrating the joy and power of reading as Syracuse Jr High participated in the statewide Read-A-Thon! 🎉📖
Our Seahawks took some time to unplug, get comfortable, and dive into some great books. What a fun way to promote a love of reading and remind our students that there’s always an adventure waiting between the pages! ❤️📚

We were honored to welcome our Superintendent and members of the School Board to Syracuse Jr High! 🧡💙
During their visit, they presented one of our amazing teachers, Sarah Lasater, with a well-deserved award! 🎉 This recognition is so deserving, and we are incredibly grateful for all she does for our students and our school. Congratulations, Mrs. Lasater! 👏🏼
Our guests also toured the school and had the opportunity to see some of the incredible learning happening in our classrooms. They visited our Innovation Center, where Mrs. Constant was teaching her Exploring Technology: Design and Modeling class, stopped by Mrs. Kim Packer’s 8th grade math class, and finished their classroom visits in Mr. Christopherson’s AP Human Geography class.
We also made a stop at our Teen Center, “The Nest,” where we had the opportunity to visit with Mrs. Lambert and learn more about this important resource for our students. 🪺
We are so proud of our school, our teachers, and our students, and we were grateful for the opportunity to show off all the wonderful things happening at Syracuse Jr High!

🧡💙 Leadership in action! 🧡💙
Our awesome Syracuse Jr High Student Government had an EARLY start, leaving at 5:00 AM for their leadership conference at Utah State University, where they spent the day learning, growing, and developing their leadership skills. 💪🦅
But their day didn’t end there! After a long day of leadership training, they headed back to the community to help Syracuse Elementary with their carnival! 🎪🎉
What an incredible example of true leadership—learning how to lead and then putting those skills into action by serving others. We are so proud of these students for giving their time, energy, and talents to make a difference in the lives of others.
These young leaders are showing us that leadership isn’t just about being in charge—it’s about serving, inspiring, and lifting others. What amazing role models they are for our younger Seahawks! 🧡💙
Way to go, Student Government! We are so proud of you! 🦅👏

Throughout the day, our student leaders learned valuable strategies to strengthen their leadership skills, build confidence, work together as a team, and make a positive impact on those around them.
We are so proud of these students for stepping up, learning, and growing as leaders! We can’t wait to see them put their new skills into action as they help lead our school through an amazing 40th year! 🧡💙
