Due to inclement weather, the Syracuse City School District will operate on a 2-hour delay schedule today, Wednesday, January 28, 2026.

Attention families, due to the inclement weather and New York State declaring a state of emergency, the Syracuse City School District will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. Thank you and please stay safe!

SCSD schools will be closed from December 22nd through January 2nd for Holiday Recess.

We can't wait to see our Pre-K through 10th grade students for their tomorrow - September 3rd!

The first day of school for students in Grades 11 and 12 will be Thursday, September 4th. While only 9th & 10th grade high school students will attend school on September 3rd, ALL high school students are expected to report on Thursday, September 4th and Friday, September 5th! If you have any issues impacting your child's attendance, please call their school's main office or our Attendance Coordinator (Shalanda Graham) at 315-435-4578.

There will be NO SCHOOL in the Syracuse City School District on Friday, February 14, 2025.

Only staff in units 5 and 6 are to report. Stay safe! We look forward to seeing students back in school following midwinter recess!
