Our first convo of the Fall 2026 semester has arrived! Dr. Kevin Moore, Emeritus OCC Professor, will be returning to OCC to perform a piano recital with pieces by Debussy and Prokofiev. Throughout his illustrious career, he has performed more than 160 full-length solo recitals and over 200 short programs like the one he is presenting this week!

Welcome to the Fall 2026 semester! 🤩 We have an incredible class of new and returning students ready to take Music and Sound Recording classes.

Our Welcome Convocation is tomorrow: Friday, August 28 starting at 12:20pm in Recital Hall (Room P100). This first convo will be an informational session about how this “Recital Attendance” class will work for the academic year, and is required for Music and Sound Recording students. See you all tomorrow afternoon, and have a great Fall semester, everyone!

We have reached our final performance for the Spring 2026 semester! 😎 Tomorrow’s convocation is going to feature the incredibly talented students in Professor Ben Ellis’s guitar studio. You’re going to see group pieces, solo pieces, and hear some top-notch video game music that’s been arranged for guitar ensemble. We continue our marathon week of performances with the Concert Choir and OCC Singers vocal ensembles performing tomorrow night! Both directed by Dr. Denise Ellis, these two fantastic choral groups are going to sing 4 songs each, with Professor Dongwon Shin being the incredible pianist for the whole concert.
