Hi Everyone. With all the buzz about the Micron construction site we thought you might like seeing it from the air. We're climbing through 2000' heading toward the Oswego County Airport on a 330º heading. This shot is looking out the right side of the aircraft. You can see Oneida Lake in the distance. It's going to be fun watching the construction over the next couple of years. We'll be sure to post pics every now and then.

Hi Everyone. We are thrilled to announce a new addition to our staff - John McCormick. John ("JD") is a lifelong aviation enthusiast, and comes to us with 7 years instructing experience as a CFI & CFII, over 1,400 hours, with extensive time teaching students. He also holds his FAA Dispatcher certification, a Bachelor's from Embry-Riddle, and an MBA from Tour University. He is also soon-to-be retired from nearly 24 years in the US Air Force

He also loves the freedom of paramotor flying for its pure, open-air connection to flight, but his real drive comes from teaching—guiding pilots through every step, building their skills and confidence with clear, thorough instruction and genuine enthusiasm.

JD is passionate about flying and helping others discover the thrill and mastery of the sky. He is looking forward to sharing his skills with True Course students and helping them achieve their aviation dreams!

Hi Everyone. Winter has certainly come on quickly, and it has definitely been cold but Matt Yoder took advantage of some decent weather today and had his First Solo! Congratulations Matt! Well done!!

Hi Everyone. Big news! This Wednesday, October 22nd, the FAA's MOSIAC rules take effect. Without getting into too much detail what this essentially means is that all 3 of our Cessna 172 Skyhawks, (and a whole lot of other planes) will now be considered Light Sport Aircraft making them eligible to be used to train Light Sport Pilots. The Light Sport Pilot certificate does not require a medical certificate. As long as you have never been denied a FAA medical and you have a drivers license you are eligible to act as Pilot in Command of a LSA under LSA rules. Come learn more!
