LiRo-Hill was recognized by the ASCE Long Island Branch with two prestigious honors last night. We received the 2026 Resiliency Award for the Pirates Cove Road Raising Project in Massapequa, which improved the community’s resilience to future storm events through roadway elevation and coastal protection enhancements. LiRo-Hill also earned the 2026 Project of the Year – Design-Build Award for the Webster Avenue Bridge Replacement Project, which involved replacing the 128-year-old bridge while maintaining minimal disruption to LIRR service. The 77 ft, three-span bridge carries two lanes of traffic and a sidewalk over the LIRR’s Port Washington Branch. These awards reflect LiRo-Hill’s continued commitment to delivering innovative, impactful infrastructure solutions that strengthen and serve local communities.
