Homecoming 10/17/2025. Oh what a night!!!

You could feel the excitement in the air and laughter trickled over from the Carnival. The Syosset HS Band played….

Our Community came together to support and watch our Varsity Football team play Hempstead. They were neck and neck and then Touchdown! We pulled ahead….in the end Syosset Won 30 - 14. Congrats Boys, Coaches & Parents!!!!

Teamwork Makes the Dreamwork - Thank You to Everyone (our Principal Dr. Durante, Administration, Teachers, Security, Custodians & Groundskeepers, PTSA Barn Volunteers Helena, Aebeer, Kelly, Tara, Ying, Barbara, Joyce, Karen & Shahnaz). We couldn’t have done it without you!!

All proceeds benefit our Syosset High School student activities and Senior Service (volunteer) Scholarships.

Thank you to all the parents who joined us at our PTSA meeting last night. It is always so informative to hear from SHS Administration (Dr. Durante, Dr. Kim, Dr. Parenteau, Mr. Fisher) and our PTSA Co-Presidents Helena and Aebeer.

The PTSA serves as a vital bridge between parents and school staff—working together to support students, strengthen the school community, and enhance learning experiences. It also provides a space for parents to share their ideas, voice concerns, and help shape school initiatives.

•PTSA Student Service Awards for seniors (must have a current student or parent/guardian PTSA membership)

•Opportunities to contribute to activities like Multicultural Festival, Barn, Staff Recognition Luncheon and various committees

From day to night we rocked our football and soccer games:
•HBT vs SW Middle Schools
•Varsity & JV Football
•Varsity Soccer

The perfect days/ nights - the weather, the sports, the community - we all came together. WTG Syo!!!

Thank You to everyone who helped us make the games & The Barn refreshments happen (including Bagel Master for their generous bagel donation)!!

Thanks everyone for supporting our SHS PTSA and student activities and service scholarships.
