Attendance Matters! 📚🍎

Missing a day here and there might not seem like much, but those absences add up quickly. Every school day gives your child valuable time for learning, connection, and growth.

As we work together to support strong attendance across Worth County Schools, here are a few important reminders for families:

📌 Our updated attendance protocols are available in each school’s Student and Parent Handbook at www.worthschools.net.

📌Students are allowed 5 parent notes as attendance excuses. 1 Note=1 Absence

📌 Attendance excuses must be submitted within 5 days of the student returning to school.

📌 For a quicker exchange, parents and guardians are encouraged to email attendance excuses directly to their child’s school.

🧪🍎 Learning Gravity in Action!

Mrs. Cooper’s class took learning beyond the textbook with a hands-on gravity lab! Students were able to observe, experiment, and see firsthand how gravity works. 🌎⬇️

📚 WCMS FY27 Family Engagement Plan & Parent-School Compact

WCMS families, our FY27 Parent-School Compact will be sent home with students today! 🖤💛

Please take a few minutes to review the compact with your student. Both the parent/guardian and the student need to sign the form located inside the compact and return the signed form to school.

The Rams and Lady Rams kicked off their season at the Furlow Fast Feet Invitational in Americus!

🥉 Lady Rams – 3rd out of 7 teams
• Josie Garwood – 8th, 15:47
• Ximena Mendoza – 10th, 16:18

🥇 Rams – 1st out of 12 teams!
• Brantley Nail – 2nd, 12:38
• Luke Clark – 3rd, 12:47
• Grant Pendley – 13th, 13:33

Both teams return to action 8/29 at the Albany Area YMCA Invitational.
