This elite designation accompanies Lourdes University’s achievement of a 100% alignment rating in the state’s rigorous Science of Reading audit, confirming full compliance with all audit metrics and Ohio Revised Code requirements.
Out of 49 public and private institutions evaluated statewide, Lourdes University stands alongside just one other institution as an exemplar, reflecting exceptional leadership, faculty collaboration, and sustained commitment to evidence-based literacy instruction. Fewer than 15% of teacher preparation programs achieved full alignment; only two were elevated to exemplar status.
