I'm so excited to present an online resource for the motorcycle community here on my FB page while the Fit To Ride website is under development. We're working on adding even more quality images to adequately demonstrate the poses, which will cover modifications to accommodate functional constraints, riding gear, as well as addressing the practicality of doing these things in public spaces at a pit stop. Try these poses out in both the Pit Stop and Pose Guide albums located on this page. Feel free to leave comments about what challenges you have and what's holding you back. I'll be reading all feedback and using it to prioritize our content while we strive to bring you a comprehensive resource.

You can also look forward to coming posts on this page where I'll demonstrate the use of props that you'll have with you on your ride. There are also easy to pack items which can offer a major benefit to use during and after a ride. The possibilities are endless and your journey begins here with Fit To Ride. Much Love - Alicia

**Special thanks to the talented David Schmenk and Emily Hayman for supplying the incredible photos we have to help show the motorcycle community what is possible for them in their practice.

We want to thank everyone who joined Fit To Ride’s fitness for motorcyclists movement at the BMW MOA International Rally this year! We are humbled by the number of participants we had and count ourselves blessed to have had the chance to meet and serve this wonderful community.

We want you to know we listened to your feedback and are putting gears into motion to give riders access to more resources through Fit To Ride. We already have in the works a Pit Stop card with stretches that have the most impact for riders during a ride. Our website is under way and we hope to have it launched very soon. We plan to develop a network of professionals and make it easier than ever to be Fit To Ride.

Remember when you stretch to go slow. Give your body time to release. Don’t be afraid to step into a local studio to get the self care you deserve between rides! Come as you are and be yourself. Communicate your needs to instructors and they can help you to modify your practice if necessary.

Stay tuned for updates on events we will be at and to be in the loop as resources tailored to riders are rolled out. Happy trails to you until next time! - Alicia & Shawn

Shawn and I had a great long weekend in Kentucky with Zach Park. Had a chance to utilize some Pit Stop stretches on my aching body on days 2 and 3. I held off on purpose the first couple of days, only doing a few simple movements I see a lot of people doing when they get out of a car or stop during a ride to feel better. I was feeling very fatigued and stiff by the end of day 2, so I went ahead and started my Pit Stop routine. It’s great knowing what stretches make the most impact: dramatic restoration of blood flow, relief from stiffness, and an increase in alertness to name a few benefits. These stretches felt goooood.

Instead of feeling run into the ground by that point, I was able to change course, ease right into the last leg of our trip, and enjoy our time so much more. Come meet us at the BMW MOA International Rally June 13-16th and I’ll demonstrate what kinds of stretches do more!
