The Nursing Pinning Ceremony is one of the most meaningful traditions in the life of Lourdes University. More than a celebration, it is a rite of passage. The pin represents the hard work, sacrifice, compassion, and commitment each nursing graduate carries into the profession. It connects them to the proud legacy of Lourdes nursing alumni who have served patients, families, and communities across our region and beyond.

At Lourdes, nursing has always been about more than preparing students for a career. It has been about forming caregivers who lead with skill, serve with humility, and see the dignity of every person placed in their care.

As we celebrate the Class of 2026, we honor not only what they have accomplished, but the difference they are prepared to make. Their Lourdes education will continue to live on through every patient they comfort, every family they support, and every community they help strengthen.
