Over the Rainbow Sylvania Your Child is our # 1 Concern. We provide a safe and nurturing
environment for infant - school-age.

Over the Rainbow is an independent company, locally owned and family operated. Our center offers a safe, healthy, nurturing learning environment. Over the Rainbow is conveniently located near the corner of Brint and McCord Roads in Sylvania.

The center enrolls children as young as 6 weeks through kindergarten age. Over the Rainbow boasts a large outdoor play area with individualized color coded

rooms for all age groups. The center’s hours are 7:30 am through 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Over the Rainbow Early Learning Center uses The Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers and Preschool, a theory and research based curriculum which is aligned with Ohio’s Early Learning Content Standards. Children learn through a variety of methods and learning centers each day.

The staff at Over the Rainbow is highly trained and qualified, as many teachers possess college degrees in Early Childhood. All teachers participate in ongoing in-service classes such as First Aid, CPR, Communicable Diseases, and Child Abuse Prevention, and effective classroom practice. We are a 3 star center as rated by Ohio's Step-Up-To-Quality Program. Only 8% of Early Learning Centers in Lucas County hold this distinction. Ohio's Step-Up-To-Quality program is a statewide initiative that focuses on quality in the child care environment.
