Hello Mustang Faithful,

This post is coming to you from current board President Cori Fritz(22-24 & 24-26). June 30th officially marks the closing of a very important chapter for me as my time serving the Mustang Booster Club comes to an end.

I first joined boosters in 2018 as simply a parent of three athletes, wanting to support our athletes and school community. Over the years, I served as secretary and vice president under the original school booster club before eventually stepping into the role of president for the newly established nonprofit Mustang Booster Club.

What started as a rebuilding effort with a lot of uncertainty slowly grew into something I am incredibly proud of. Over the last four years as president, we secured nonprofit status, became officially incorporated through generous pro bono legal support, implemented online memberships and purchasing, partnered with SnapRaise to better support our teams, and helped bring a brand-new custom mascot to our school through an incredible community donation.

Most importantly, we rebuilt a club dedicated to supporting our student-athletes, coaches, and athletic programs.

This year was especially meaningful because, for the first time, we truly had a full board working together toward the same goals, and I could not be more thankful for the people who helped carry this organization forward.

I especially want to thank Michael Forbis for standing beside me through the rebuilding years when there were real concerns about whether this club would succeed in its new form. I’m also incredibly grateful to the school administration, coaches, families, and community members who supported us along the way.

I know this club is in good hands, and I cannot wait to see where they take it next.

Thank you to everyone who supported me, encouraged me, volunteered beside me, donated, attended events, and believed in what we were building. Serving this community and our athletes has truly been an honor that I will always cherish.

As I step away, I’m excited to announce the newly elected Mustang Booster Club Board for the 2026–2028 term.

Once a Mustang, always a Mustang. 💙

🎃👻 What a night at the Mustang BOOster Club Trunk or Treat! 👻🎃

We had such a spooktacular time celebrating Halloween with our Mustang families and community! 💙🖤 It was amazing to see so many creative costumes, smiling faces, and festive trunks lighting up the night!

📣 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT — Trunk or Treat Event Details 🎃

Tomorrow, Thursday, October 31st, the Mustang Booster Club Inc. will host our Trunk or Treat before the game!

🕔 Setup Details:
Trunk or Treat participants may begin setting up before 5:45 PM.
⚠️ No vehicles will be allowed to enter, set up, or park after 5:45 PM so we can have the lot cleared and ready for the event to begin at 6:00 PM.

🚫 Parking Closure:
For the safety of the children attending Trunk or Treat, the parking lot will remain closed to all parking — including VIP and paid parking — until 7:00 PM.
No vehicles will be permitted to move or enter during this time.

🚗 Reopening:
Parking will reopen promptly at 7:00 PM for VIP and paid parking.

💙Your patience and cooperation ensure a safe, fun evening for our Mustang families — and every dollar raised through parking helps support SMHS student athletes through the Mustang Booster Club.
